Account and data

Free and paid

Free reads. Paid writes. A free account reads the whole sport — live matches, results, public runs, docs, and your own claimed record — and connects the apps. Writing — syncing your kit across devices, uploading runs, running matches, sharing wind — is the paid kit. Deleting your own data is always free.

Free Paid
Read the sport — live matches, results, public runs, docs yes yes
Your own record — runs timed for you, your claimed history yes yes
Connect the apps & mint API tokens yes yes
Sync your kit across devices — rifles, cartridges, zero, ballistics yes
Close the ballistics loop — range checks, auto-dope, calibration yes
Run a match — live board, permanent results, Spotters & Eyes yes
Keep & share — upload runs, clubs, wind sharing, the Report yes

A subscription is billed yearly or monthly, VAT included — the price shown at signup is the price you pay. Billing and receipts run through Stripe; change your plan or cancel any time from Account → Manage subscription, where your invoices live too.

Connect an app

Each app signs in from Account → Connect: a QR code for Shot Timer and Spotter, a numeric code for Stage Watch. Scan or enter it once and the app stays signed in.

Storage

Your account shows a “% full” bar, never a number of bytes — free accounts and paid accounts both get room for thousands of runs under normal use. A plain-words notice appears only if you’re actually getting close to the limit.

Media-enhanced sessions

Off by default. Turning it on stores hit freeze-frames from your Eyes and Spotters so they show up on your run pages — it uses a lot more of your storage than a run’s timing alone, which is why it’s opt-in and may require a paid account.

Data honesty

Shot Timer and Stage Watch detect with the microphone, entirely on the device — nothing you record is uploaded. If you turn on Contribute data (Improve detection, in each app), what leaves the device is numeric features about each shot — plus time-of-flight truing samples if you use auto-dope — never audio. A calibration session also sends whether you were indoors or outdoors (skip it and it’s just marked unknown) and your device model. If what Contribute data collects changes in a way that matters, we’ll show you what’s new before it starts, not just update this page quietly.

Your run pages show wind readings whenever a meter’s paired — that’s stored either way, so your own wind history is always there. That wind context joins community detection improvement only on runs where Contribute data was also on.

When you tag which target a shot engaged, that’s your own label on your own run — a per-shot note that’s part of the match record, not a new kind of data collection, so there’s no separate switch for it. Nothing reads those tags today but you and your footage; if they ever fed something broader, like per-target analytics, that’s a change we’d show you first.

Account deletion

Account → Delete my account asks you to type your username to confirm — no email involved, nothing to click. Confirm and everything owned by your account is permanently removed immediately — events, calibrations, match runs, private definitions, tokens. Public match definitions you created stay up, credited to “(former user)”.

API tokens

Generate a token from your account page and paste it into an app’s sign-in field, or use the QR/code connect pages for a faster setup. Revoke a token any time — the app using it is signed out immediately.
